 Develop and implement strategies, policies, and guidelines to effectively manage supply chain processes within the designated organizational unit.

 Establish and execute functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function to ensure optimal performance.

 Your Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Several years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement with a proven track record in managing operations and improving efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, including ERP systems and inventory management software, and strong analytical skills for data analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across diverse teams and organizational levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues quickly, with experience in process improvement and optimization techniques
 </li>
 <li>
 Competency in developing supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, along with forecasting demand and managing risks
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information clearly and experience in negotiating with suppliers and stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of cost management and budgeting in relation to supply chain operations, with skill in analyzing financial impacts of decisions
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements pertinent to supply chains
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and technologies, with a tendency for innovative thinking to enhance processes and efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

 Coordinate supply chain processes to ensure efficient operations. Maintain documentation, records and systems and support Professionals and Team Leader.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check documents e.g. certifications, orders; identify discrepancies of the requested documents e.g. for suppliers and service providers to ensure quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and update required data and documents in the supply chain systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and monitor the processes in the system and suggest corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare reports on supply chain performance and metrics and provide required support for accountable Manager and other colleagues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
 </li>

 Development and implementation of a regional purchasing strategy in the assigned category/categories and agreement with the relevant specialist areas and contact partners in the regions

 Regional (India Level) responsibility for the costs of assigned category/categories
 </li>
 <li>
 Regional planning and tracking of budgetary prerequisites, and development of purchasing costs in agreement with the relevant specialist areas and regional/local contact partners
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis of the category&rsquo;s purchasing volume
 </li>
 <li>
 Creation of market analyses and procurement strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Identification, initiation, and promotion of potential savings and improvements (e.g. initiation of make-or-buy analyses) as well as responsibility for the up-to-dateness of project data in the Purchasing reporting system
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring of project implementation and initiation of countermeasures if the project target is jeopardized
 </li>
 <li>
 Risk management and task force/troubleshooting with QCD issues for all suppliers assigned as part of the Supplier Management Assignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiation of prices, conditions, and contracts as well as requests for bids for suppliers assigned as part of the Supplier Management Assignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring the publication of concluded prices, conditions, and contracts for the suppliers that are negotiated according to the SMA
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiation and implementation of the supplier selection and supplier approval process in accordance with the category-specific requirement matrix, creation of awarding of contract decision forms, and nomination of suppliers
 </li>
 <li>
 Active management of the supplier portfolio (e.g. ensuring the correct supplier assignment, supplier classification, supplier assessment, and supplier development) as well as active management of highly-volatile and supply-critical materials
 </li>
 <li>
 Regular coordination with the relevant specialist departments and the regional/local contact partners in order to increase customer satisfaction
 </li>
 <li>
 Selection of suitable purchasing tools and definition of the purchasing processes that are to be used
 </li>
 <li>
 Participation in the shaping of the process landscape in Purchasing, as well as the initiation and support of continuous improvement measures, some of them in collaboration with MOVE
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Your Qualifications
 
 
 
 Degree in business and/or a technical field or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in purchasing
