JOB GOAL:</p><p>
To ensure that financial records, procedures and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner in the assigned functional area.</p><p></p><p><br>
QUALIFICATIONS:</p><div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting from an accredited educational institution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in governmental accounting.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Comparable amount of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board and Superintendent may find appropriate.</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p><p>
Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles. Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, policies and procedures. Knowledge of and skill in spreadsheets and mainframe applications. </p><p></p><p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><div>
<ul><li>Complete routine and special accounting duties in assigned functional area.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Complete weekly, monthly and annual reports in a timely and accurate manner and maintain appropriate records.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reconcile expenditures with budgets.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure that established internal controls are properly followed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reconcile such documents as bank statements, purchase orders and invoices.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Examine purchase orders for proper cost-accounting codes and approvals.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Set up special projects budgets.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor project expenditures for accuracy and compliance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Examine/prepare requests for cash advance/reimbursements from state/federal grant providers.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide input on cash flow requirements for assigned functional area.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist in developing and implementing new/revised accounting and reporting procedures in assigned functional area.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keep abreast of such requirements as labor contracts, accounting standards, audit findings, budget changes, and federal and state reporting standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keep supervisor informed of activities in area of assignment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform reconciliation of district investment accounts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Account for fixed asset expenses which in includes balancing expenses with assets, ensuring assets are properly set up to account for depreciation and crating journal entries to correct improperly coded assets.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate with property records and construction services to ensure all expenses are properly identified and classified.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure adherence to good safety standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality regarding school/workplace matters.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Model and maintain high ethical standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Represent the district in a positive and professional manner</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.</li></ul>

To provide skilled landscape maintenance work using equipment associated with that type of work, such as mulching, pruning, fertilization, chemical application, tree pruning, and similar tasks for District facilities.</p><p></p><p><br>
QUALIFICATIONS:</p><div>
<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.</li></ul>
<ul><li>One (1) year of experience in landscape maintenance.</li></ul>

Ability to use weed eaters and other hand-operated equipment to maintain areas such as retention ponds and other sites that are not accessible by mowers. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and take directives from the foreman. Knowledge of the operation, maintenance and use of light trucks and of less complex equipment. Knowledge of traffic and other regulations governing the use of equipment. Knowledge of the occupational hazards involved and the safety precautions necessary in the operation of equipment. Knowledge of basic irrigation repair. Ability to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.</p><p></p><p><br>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
</p><p>Heavy work. Requires lifting operations involving weights up to fifty pounds. The worker is exposed to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions ranging from very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The noise level in the work environment can be high at times. STATE TITLE: FILM TECHNICIAN</p><p><br>
JOB GOAL:<br>
To assist in maintaining the on-air signal and programs, produce original programming for 24-hour-a-day, 7-days-a-<br>
week cable channels, internet, Educational Broadband Services (EBS), school board meetings and workshops, and<br>
instructional video, and troubleshoot the cable broadcast and production equipment.</p><p><br>
QUALIFICATIONS:<br>
1. Associate&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited educational institution in Broadcast Television, Mass<br>
2. Communication, Film Production or a related major; and<br>
3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in video-television production with at least three (3) years of<br>
experience using non-linear editing software.<br>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<br>
Knowledge and experience in television/film production and/or broadcasting fields. Ability to script, produce,<br>
videotape, edit and complete on time, original cable programming, instructional programming, and internet video.<br>
Skills with various types of digital technology hardware and software related to media. Strong visual storyteller<br>
with understanding of NPPA style.</p><p><br>

3. Assist with the taping of School Board meetings and functions as needed as well as the live broadcast of<br>
School Board meetings and workshops.<br>
4. Provide training and guidance to production interns as needed.<br>
5. Assist in the programming and live broadcast of satellite transmission, teleconferencing, video<br>
conferencing, two-way distance education production, programming and distribution.<br>
6. Communicate project updates to supervisor and other project team members specific to each project.<br>
