The School District of New Richmond is now taking applications for a Library Media Center Paraprofessional.The applicant must be student-centered, flexible, organized and work well with others. The position will consist of work within the library, possible work with small groups of students, as well as supervision of lunch and recess.Qualifications:1. Strong communication skills. 2. Verbal, grammatical and written language. 3. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 4. Proficient computer skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This work regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing and occasionally requires pushing, pulling, lifting, and operating machines; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, and observing general surroundings and activities; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. school offices/classrooms/passageways).All applicants must apply using the WECAN system.Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Work Location: In person
