The Music Instructor positively embodies rock and roll and is responsible for creating a valuable student experience that helps our students learn music and life skills.Music Instruction:<ul><li>Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals</li><li>Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method&trade;</li><li>Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App</li></ul>Customer Connection:<ul><li>Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at-home practice</li><li>Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school</li><li>Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program</li><li>Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities school</li></ul>Skill Requirements:<ul><li>2 + years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally</li><li>Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design</li><li>Strong customer relations skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music performance, excellent communication skills. Strong preference is given to gigging musicians (past and/or current), multi-genre (rock, jazz, indie, country, worship).
