This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a lively setting that celebrates hospitality excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.</li><li>Take accurate food and drink orders from guests promptly and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods like banquets or nightlife events.</li><li>Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and promoting a safe environment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.</li><li>Experience in catering or food industry environments is advantageous; retail math skills are beneficial for accurate transactions.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
