Maintenance Shop Mechanic WantedPay: Based on candidate Experience:Job description:Schuh Construction is a family-owned general contractor, design build construction company that was founded in 1976. We have established a strong tradition that is based on honesty, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in the buildings we create and the service we provide.Due to increased demand, we are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Shop Mechanic to our team.About the Role:As a key member of our in-house maintenance shop, you will help keep our construction equipment running reliably and safely. You&rsquo;ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. If you&rsquo;re a skilled mechanic who takes pride in keeping equipment in top condition and wants to be part of a tight-knit construction team, we want to hear from you!What we&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>Solid mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with engines (gas and diesel)</li><li>Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment (cranes, boom lifts, skid steers, etc. is a big plus)</li><li>Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues</li><li>Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety</li><li>Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (CDL preferred but not required)</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of relevant mechanic experience (construction equipment or heavy-duty truck experience preferred)</li><li>Technical training is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is more important.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Medical &amp; Dental Insurance</li><li>Vacation pay after 60 days</li><li>Employer contributed Profit Sharing Plan/401k</li><li>Positive team environment where your work directly supports our field crews</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:<ul><li>10 hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Seymour, WI 54165 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Seymour, WI 54165: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In personSchuh Construction, Inc is an equal opportunity employer.Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
