Schuylkill Center is hiring for Full Time and Part Time Dietary Aides! We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team of caregivers!

Requirements of the Dietary Aide:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is required.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and/or deliver to the nurses&rsquo; station at appropriate times of day: juice, applesauce and pudding for med passes.</li>
<li>Complete set up of resident meals trays according to specified diets (napkins, place mats, silverware, glassware, and appropriate condiment for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.)</li>
<li>Placing appropriate hot and cold food items on residents&rsquo; trays at mealtime according to menu, diet cards, or designated by the manager or cook.</li>
<li>Prepare sandwiches, juices, special and meal items according to diet cards, and place on trays at meal times. Some items are but not limited to: peanut butter &amp; jelly, meats sandwich, thickened milk, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, and ginger ale.</li>
<li>Prepare and/or deliver food items for restorative program as designated by the policy posted on the juice refrigerator.</li>
<li>Deliver all meal trays to appropriate destinations on the nursing floor at appropriate times, retrieve trays at appropriate times, and collect any trays or dishware from floor before end of shift.</li>
<li>Must breakdown all trays and items on trays by putting through dish machine, putting items away in appropriate places, and restock machine with appropriate chemicals.</li>
<li>Must take out all trashcans after each meal, sweep, mop, and sanitize work areas according to checklists or as deemed appropriate by the supervisor or cook.</li>
<li>Must accept phone calls and requests from nursing staff and residents in an appropriate manner and fulfill requests in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Assist cook when needed.</li>
<li>Make authorized food substitutions.</li>
<li>Assist in food preparation for special meals, for parties, etc.</li>

Schuylkill Center is actively looking for a Part Time Transportation Driver with experience driving passenger vehicles! Transforming traditional &quot;nursing homes&quot; into skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities is the focus at Schuylkill Center. We are fully committed to providing compassionate, family-oriented short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team of caregivers!

The primary purpose of your position is to safely and courteously transport residents in the transport vehicle from the Facility to physician offices, dental appointments, eye doctor appointments, audiology appointments; and for treatments, x-rays, MRIs and CAT scans, as directed by the Facility&rsquo;s scheduler, DON, and Administrator. Additionally, the Driver delivers resident&rsquo;s medical records, x-rays, and medial equipment as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Safely Transporting and Transferring Patients</li>
<li>Coordinate with Facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments.</li>
<li>Report any known or potential mechanical problems or repairs with the Facility&rsquo;s vehicle to the Maintenance Director immediately.</li>
<li>Use protective clothing or devices when handling infectious waste and/or blood/body fluids.</li>
<li>Report missing or illegible labels and MSDSs to your Supervisor.</li>
<li>Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e. triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) are available and in good working condition.</li>
<li>Recommend to your Supervisor the equipment and supply needs for the Facility&rsquo;s vehicle.</li>
<li>Use supplies in an efficient manner to avoid waste.</li>
<li>Assist in the moving and arranging of equipment and supplies to assure that the Facility&rsquo;s vehicle are ready for scheduled appointments and activities.</li>
<li>Supporting Nursing and Maintenance Departments as needed</li>
</ul>
Requirements of the CNA Transport Driver:
<ul>
<li>Must possess a Driver's License in the State of PA with a clean driving record</li>
<li>Must have a high school diploma/GED</li>
<li>Must be CPR Certified</li>
<li>Must be dependable, timely, friendly, good phone skills, and have excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen</li>
