Your expertise will help us build durable structures, ductwork, piping systems, and custom metal assemblies that meet project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are celebrated.Responsibilities<ul><li>Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.</li><li>Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, pipe, and other materials.</li><li>Perform welding using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding techniques to join metal components securely.</li><li>Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication according to specifications.</li><li>Set up and operate machinery including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading equipment for precise fabrication tasks.</li><li>Conduct rigging activities to lift, position, and secure heavy materials or assemblies safely on-site or in the shop.</li><li>Fabricate ductwork, structural steel, mechanical components, or custom assemblies for construction or manufacturing projects.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and material handling.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and ensure project deadlines are met efficiently.</li><li>Follow ASME codes &amp; standards for pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural components to guarantee compliance with industry regulations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven construction site experience or background in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication.</li><li>Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding is a plus.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.</li><li>Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading and soldering processes.</li><li>Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy materials safely on-site or within the shop setting.</li><li>Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.</li><li>Experience with construction-related equipment such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding, machining, rigging, and working at heights.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
