The &ldquo;Advanced AP Specialist&rdquo; is responsible for managing various accounts payable activities, support the business and FSSC leadership team with a key focus on improvements to existing payable process.
This position is part of the Sciex&rsquo;s EMEAI Finance Shared Services team, and will be located in Mumbai, India. It is a full time onsite job with 5 days&rsquo; work from office.
Education:<ul><li>Minimum Accounting degree, B.Com / M.Com or MBA (Finance)</li></ul><div>
Years of experience: 
<ul><li>Minimum 5-6 years of Accounts Payable experience within an international or domestic finance shared services environment serving India, Europe, APAC, or US markets.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience with Oracle or a similar ERP accounting system</li></ul></div>
Other essential skills:<ul><li>Self-starter, and independent contributor with relentless focus on process improvement</li><li>Fluency in English (both verbal and in writing)</li><li>Exposure to different countries with different VAT/taxation rules</li><li>Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook</li><li>Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Team player and relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders</li></ul>
Key Job Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Process daily AP transactions and ensure timely follow-up on all outstanding items.</li><li>Responsible for processing of PO, NON-PO and Intercompany invoices for EMEAI entities.</li><li>Good understanding of month end close activities including accruals, provisions, Opex/Capex expenditure review and reporting</li><li>Good knowledge of 2-Way and 3-Way matching concept while verifying invoice details</li><li>Managing payment run and ensuring timely payment of all due invoices without any issue.</li><li>Process vendor master data, do vendor statement reconciliations and drafting new SOP&rsquo;s.</li><li>Good understanding of GRNI, direct debit, cross charge, and pre-paid processes.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy as per US GAAP.</li><li>Resolving supplier's queries and providing best customer service to internal stakeholders.</li><li>Doing user testing of accounting systems whenever required and help troubleshoot the issue.</li><li>Knowledge of T&amp;E - employees expense claim settlement process and payments will be an added advantage.</li></ul>

The Senior Intellectual Property Counsel position is responsible for protecting SCIEX&rsquo;s innovations by procuring and managing intellectual property rights of SCIEX and managing freedom to operate thereof.
This position reports to the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel and is part of the Legal Department located in Marlborough, MA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:<ul><li>
Serve as trusted counsel on IP issues (e.g., invention mining, patentability, patent prosecution and freedom to operate), locally and globally, by giving solid and practical IP legal advice to various stakeholders, including business executives.</li><li>
Leads outside counsel in the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications for the portion of SCIEX&rsquo;s portfolio that this position individually is responsible for with a focus on quality, output, and cost.</li><li>
Negotiates, drafts, and reviews agreements such as licenses, research agreements, collaboration agreements, confidentiality agreements and material transfer agreements.</li><li>
Conducts freedom to operate assessments on emerging technology.</li><li>
Provides educational presentations and other training on IP matters to Sciex associates.</li></ul>
The essential requirements of the job include:<ul><li>
Juris Doctorate with excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.</li><li>
Active bar membership.</li><li>
Admitted to practice, including on a limited basis, before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.</li><li>
Experience in biology, chemistry, and physics with working knowledge of software. Alternatively, experience in software with working knowledge of life sciences.</li><li>
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a law firm and as in-house counsel is required, with experience managing a global IP portfolio and counseling stakeholders to business executives.</li></ul>
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record &amp; Physical/Environment Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to travel &ndash; 10 % travel, overnight, within country and internationally</li></ul>
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:<ul><li>
Strong process orientation, problem solving skills, and a commitment to delivering results.</li><li>
Ability to perform exceptionally in fast paced, performance-oriented environment with a sense of urgency.</li><li>
