Systems Integration EngineerOrganization: Scita Integrasi OmanLocation: Tech Building, Port Road, SoharRemuneration: OMR 3,300 per month (All-inclusive)The Integration Objective Strategically located on Port Road in Sohar, Scita Integrasi is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to harmonize our industrial and enterprise ecosystems. This role is for a technical specialist who excels at connecting disparate hardware and software platforms into a unified, high-performance architecture. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data exchange between our Port-side operations and back-end management systems.Architecture &amp; Integration DNA<ul><li>Interoperability Management: Design and implement robust API layers and middleware solutions to bridge legacy industrial systems with modern cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Protocol Synchronization: Manage and troubleshoot diverse communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, REST) to ensure 100% data fidelity across the Sohar Port Road facility.</li><li>System Hardening: Collaborate with security teams to ensure all integrated endpoints meet the Sultanate&rsquo;s critical infrastructure protection standards.</li><li>Performance Engineering: Conduct end-to-end latency testing and throughput optimization to ensure real-time system responsiveness for maritime and logistics stakeholders.</li></ul>Professional Prerequisites<ul><li>Technical History: 7+ years of experience in systems integration or DevOps, specifically within port logistics, manufacturing, or heavy industry.</li><li>Stack Proficiency: Expertise in Python, Java, or C# for integration scripting; deep familiarity with ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) architectures.</li><li>Linguistic Level: Advanced C2-level professional English is required for complex system documentation and cross-border vendor coordination.</li><li>Visual Documentation: Proficient in using Loom to record system architecture walkthroughs and integration test results for executive review.</li></ul>Work Context: Scita Integrasi offers a high-stakes environment in the heart of Sohar&rsquo;s industrial corridor.
