Job Summary Join our dynamic lawn care team as a Lawn Care Crew Member and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance and gardening while gaining hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. As a key contributor, you will help maintain the health and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties, ensuring customer satisfaction through diligent care and attention to detail. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor maintenance.Duties<ul><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks</li><li>Mow lawns, trim trees, prune shrubs, and perform tree care to promote healthy growth and enhance visual appeal</li><li>Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency</li><li>Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features</li><li>Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible</li><li>Maintain gardens by planting new greenery, weeding beds, mulching, and performing horticultural practices</li><li>Support construction projects related to landscape upgrades or new installations by using appropriate tools and techniques</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Mechanical knowledge or experience with landscaping machinery and hand tools is highly desirable</li><li>Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners</li><li>Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as mowing, tree trimming, irrigation setup, and hardscape installation is a plus</li><li>Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with excavators or other construction equipment is advantageous</li><li>Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture principles or landscape design is beneficial but not mandatory</li><li>Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude eager to learn new skills in lawn care and outdoor maintenance</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
