 As Scout's&nbsp;Senior&nbsp;Financial Analyst, you will&nbsp;leverage your&nbsp;past experience&nbsp;in financial analysis of renewable&nbsp;energy&nbsp;and/or power sector projects&nbsp;to inform strategic decisions in every aspect of&nbsp;Scout's&nbsp;business.&nbsp;You will provide key support to&nbsp;PPA origination,&nbsp;project finance, corporate finance, and capital recycling&nbsp;transactions. Beyond your financial&nbsp;modeling and&nbsp;analysis,&nbsp;your work will include a combination of engagement with capital providers (debt, tax equity, and equity), and&nbsp;day-to-day management of&nbsp;projects and&nbsp;transactions.&nbsp;You&nbsp;will&nbsp;represent&nbsp;Scout with&nbsp;authentic&nbsp;professionalism to our business partners,&nbsp;counterparties, and stakeholders.&nbsp;In short, you will help to&nbsp;underwrite and&nbsp;execute&nbsp;Scout's investment strategies across the portfolio of projects.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 You&nbsp;will&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;project-based financial modeling and preparing documentation,&nbsp;reporting&nbsp;and analysis to&nbsp;assist&nbsp;investment&nbsp;decisions.&nbsp;Your&nbsp;work will&nbsp;impact&nbsp;many functions across Scout, including:&nbsp;
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Development: You will provide&nbsp;insight to the Development team about which inputs drive their projects' financial performance so that they can adapt their development plans accordingly.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>

 <li>
 Origination:&nbsp;Your analysis will inform pricing strategies developed by the Origination team&nbsp;to ensure that the long-term revenue streams will contribute to target rates of return and integrate needed risk management strategies.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Project Finance&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Capital Markets: You will provide support&nbsp;to&nbsp;project and corporate capital raising transactions.&nbsp;You will build project-specific models, refine and integrate inputs, and&nbsp;determine&nbsp;which scenarios to run&nbsp;based on the project&nbsp;opportunity.&nbsp;You will&nbsp;also&nbsp;support day-to-day management of transactions,&nbsp;coordinate consultants and diligence, and&nbsp;interface&nbsp;with&nbsp;internal and external&nbsp;counterparties.&nbsp;

 Corporate Finance:&nbsp;While the bulk of your work will focus on project-level finance, you&nbsp;may&nbsp;also inform&nbsp;and assist with&nbsp;corporate-level&nbsp;financial modeling&nbsp;and transactions&nbsp;from time to time.&nbsp;This&nbsp;will&nbsp;include integrating the results of the project&nbsp;models, conducting more specific analysis, preparing reports&nbsp;for&nbsp;our investors, and preparing board papers that present the case for alternative investment options.&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 You will&nbsp;work as part of&nbsp;a&nbsp;high performing&nbsp;team within&nbsp;the&nbsp;Project Finance &amp; Capital Markets&nbsp;group.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
 
 
 
 Key duties in your role&nbsp;will&nbsp;include the following:&nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own projects across the investment lifecycle - from origination to&nbsp;financing and&nbsp;commercial operation.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;both internal and external&nbsp;fully structured (tax equity, debt,&nbsp;and cash equity) financial models&nbsp;with recent project and corporate assumptions.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate with many different departments internally to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;financial models, prepare&nbsp;data rooms,&nbsp;and&nbsp;develop&nbsp;key transaction documents.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Leverage your subject matter&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;to direct and deliver&nbsp;scenario modeling for investment decisions, capital raising,&nbsp;and contract negotiations.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support project finance, capital markets, and&nbsp;M&amp;A transactions, including&nbsp;responding to&nbsp;due diligence and&nbsp;interfacing with&nbsp;investors,&nbsp;external consultants,&nbsp;and business partners.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist&nbsp;in building models, tools, processes,&nbsp;and infrastructure that&nbsp;supports&nbsp;the organization's accuracy,&nbsp;efficiency&nbsp;and scalability.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist&nbsp;in managing construction loan drawdowns and financing agreement compliance.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist&nbsp;with&nbsp;project budgeting and corporate reporting.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Complete other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A&nbsp;Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business,&nbsp;Economics&nbsp;or&nbsp;a&nbsp;related&nbsp;field.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 2-3&nbsp;years of experience with project finance models in investment banking and/or&nbsp;the&nbsp;renewable energy industry, including modeling tax equity and debt structures.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in closing&nbsp;renewables&nbsp;capital markets transactions (tax equity, project debt, corporate debt)&nbsp;preferred.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly&nbsp;proficient in Microsoft Excel,&nbsp;Word,&nbsp;and PowerPoint.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Independent&nbsp;learner&nbsp;who can quickly apply lessons learned in one area to all other work areas.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-motivator with exceptional leadership and communication skills.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work products&nbsp;in multiple areas without direct supervision.&nbsp;
 </li>
