Currently we are seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team located in Booneville, MS. This person is responsible for conducting general maintenance, inspections, repairs, and improvements to equipment, tools, and facilities.

Your Role in Our Mission:
<ul>
<li>Repair and/or coordinate the repair and improvement of equipment and facility.</li>
<li>Fix unsafe structures and equipment.</li>
<li>Study the building, equipment, and procedures in the plant and point out safety hazards.</li>
<li>Make equipment and building alterations and provide training as directed by the Safety Manger to assure that the company is meeting governmental safety requirements.</li>
<li>Complete tasks in a timely manner to minimize safety hazards and maximize production&rsquo;s efficiency.</li>
<li>Work with other maintenance personnel to maintain a current listing of outstanding projects.</li>
<li>Conduct routine maintenance of company vehicles.</li>
<li>Coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Supervisor that will affect aspects of production.</li>
</ul>
To Perform this Job Successfully:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 1 year preferred in maintenance or electrical work in a manufacturing facility.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the mechanics of equipment and facility structure.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical wiring.</li>
<li>Familiarity with manufacturing machines.</li>
<li>Forklift experience preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong ability to interact with all levels of individuals within and outside the company.</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand technical documents.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.</li>
<li>Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches.</li>
<li>Arc Flash and OSHA 10 training or will need to be completed once hired.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.</li>
