The IT Specialist will ensure the security of our IT infrastructure and provide technical support to our staff. Responsibilities</b></h3><ul>
<li>Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.</li>
<li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.</li>
<li>Install and configure new hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.</li>
<li>Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.</li>
<li>Assist in the management of IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.</li>
<li>Assist with cloud migrations, cost optimization, and integration with on-prem systems.</li>
<li>Provide application-level support for MES, ERP, quality systems, and other manufacturing technologies.</li>
<li>Train employees on new technologies and software applications.</li>
<li>Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and cybersecurity threats.</li>
<li>Work with global network teams to implement changes, resolve outages, and optimize connectivity between sites.</li>
</ul><p><b>
Requirements</b></p><ul>
<li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
<li>Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role (minimum 5 years).</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of computer network systems, security, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, cloud- based systems that underpin production, engineering and business operations. and various operating systems.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills across cultures and time zones. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
</li><li>Occasional travel to local and global sites is required.</li>
<li>Participation in on-call or after-hours support rotation may be necessary.</li>
