What&rsquo;s a Medical Scribe? 
Ever wanted a front-row seat in the world of healthcare? Medical Scribes work alongside doctors to document patient visits in real time. You&rsquo;ll be the doctor&rsquo;s right-hand support&mdash;recording medical history, exams, test results, and prescriptions. By keeping accurate records, you help doctors focus on what matters most: caring for patients. It&rsquo;s a great way to gain hands-on experience in medicine!

What You&rsquo;ll Do

<li>Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.</li>
<li>Record patient history, exams, and treatments.</li>
<li>Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li>
<li>Review and track lab and test results.</li>
<li>Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.</li>
<li>Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.</li>
<li>Send and organize documents for doctor review.</li>
<li>Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.</li>

Where You&rsquo;ll Work 
As an on-site medical scribe, you could work in a variety of healthcare settings &mdash; from doctor&rsquo;s offices to emergency departments. With over 80 specialties nationwide, we&rsquo;ll match you to the best fit based on your schedule, interests, and location.
<ul>
<li>Outpatient (Doctor&rsquo;s Office): Typically weekday hours (around 8&ndash;5, Monday&ndash;Friday), with some offices offering evening or weekend shifts. Ideal if you prefer a consistent routine.</li>
<li>Emergency Department: Open 24/7 &mdash; there&rsquo;s always something happening! Great for those who need flexibility or are balancing school and other commitments.</li>
</ul>
Schedule Options 
We offer both part-time (2&ndash;3 shifts per week) and full-time (3&ndash;4 shifts per week) positions. Shifts are usually 8 hours but can vary depending on site needs.

What You&rsquo;ll Need
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.</li>
<li>Proof of vaccinations (may be required)</li>
<li>Typing speed of 40+ WPM</li>
<li>Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)</li>
<li>Strong listening and communication skills</li>
<li>Flexible schedule availability</li>
<li>Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day</li>
<li>Access to a laptop (you&rsquo;ll be provided one after training but need your own for training)</li>
