We need a therapist on either Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Friday for a part-time employee for a total of 20 hours a week.orWe can also do Tuesdays and Thursdays for a part-time employee for a total of 16 hours a weekSan Diego Elite Physical Therapy is an Outpatient Orthopedic clinic with the goal to change the current state of PT. We provide 1-on-1 PT to each patient and treat the CAUSE of pain. The therapist will see no more than 2 patients per hour (there is currently a PTA and PT aide seeing 2 patients an hour as well with a total of 6 patients in the clinic at a time) . 60 minute treatments are the norm. All treatments will be backed by scientific data. We will never become a &quot;patient mill&quot; as we truly care about our patients getting back to the life or sport that they love. If you love sports and exercise as much as we do, you will have applied to the right place.Please indicate if you speak Spanish.We are looking for an educated and licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility and move forward. You will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner</li><li>Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises</li><li>Identify patient&rsquo;s needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differences</li><li>Recommend options, courses of action or modifications in selected treatments ensuring patient&rsquo;s progress, safety and comfort</li><li>Apply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injury</li><li>Complete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services</li><li>Perform selected data collection and obtain accurate information</li><li>Measure performance and report on patient&rsquo;s medical record</li><li>Participate in patient status judgments</li><li>Adhere to ethical and legal standards</li><li>Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven working experience as physical therapist</li><li>Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards</li><li>Hands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities</li><li>Ability to communicate and instruct effectively</li><li>Health care administration and documentation skills</li><li>License to practice or relevant certification</li><li>BS degree in PT or doctorate</li></ul>Work Remotely<ul><li>No</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $50.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Continuing education credits</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Orthopedics</li><li>Physical &amp; Rehabilitation Medicine</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Licensed Physical Therapy degree (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
