GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:Responsible for cleaning of the building and grounds, performs related duties as required.DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:- Open Library and secures building at closing making sure that all doors/windows are locked and alarm system set- Setup and break down meeting room (chairs, tables, etc.)- Clean/Polish tables and chairs- Empty trash receptacles and put out trash and recyclables- Clean bathrooms, facilities (toilets, sinks, walls, floors)- Dust shelves- Lifting and carrying supplies- Lawn maintenance- Snow removal, shoveling and putting down ice melt- May asked to run occasional errandsQUALIFICATIONS:- High School Graduate or GED- Good interpersonal skills, ability to handle problem and emergency situations- Responsible, dependable and flexibility is a must- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and ability to use a ladder- Cleaning experience a plus- New York State Driver&rsquo;s License in good standingPay: From $18.00 per hourWork Location: In person
