<div>WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Purchasing Manager, you&rsquo;ll play air traffic controller by ensuring all the components needed to build Seakeeper Ride systems arrive as scheduled to meet our production plan. You&rsquo;ll ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing from approved suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships and optimizing inventory levels. Working closely with our supply partners, you&rsquo;ll proactively mitigate delivery risks, provide real-time status updates, and generally keep your finger on the pulse of our supply chain. You&rsquo;ll make an immediate impact at Seakeeper and support our Operations team by: 

<ul>
<li>Maintaining accurate purchase, pricing, shipping, delivery, and inventory records, proactively identifying and reporting shortage risks</li>
<li>Optimizing working capital by ensuring schedules are adjusted to meet build schedules and inventory targets without excess</li>
<li>Managing supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost metrics</li>
<li>Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material specifications and timelines are met</li>
<li>Reviewing Engineering Change Notifications (ECN&rsquo;s) and ensuring supply is aligned to avoid waste and off-cycle changes</li>
<li>Strategizing cost reduction, component improvement and supplier expansion decisions</li>
<li>Anticipating, communicating and executing major supply chain changes throughout the organization, including adjustments to the Bill of Material (BOM)</li>
<li>Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for components and packaging</li>
<li>Negotiating and executing initiatives with current suppliers including volume discounts, process improvements, payment terms and customer service</li>
<li>Building relationships with Seakeeper&rsquo;s existing supply partner network while identifying and qualifying potential new supply partners</li></ul>

MUST-HAVES
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field</li>
<li>8+ years of progressive experience including
<ul><li>Purchasing for raw goods or components in a manufactured product</li>
<li>Creating, refining or automating purchasing processes</li>
<li>Exposure to procurement and supply chain management</li>
<li>Supplier negotiation</li>
</ul></li><li>Ferocious attention to detail and &ldquo;won&rsquo;t take no for an answer&rdquo; attitude</li>
<li>Passion for working and a history of lightning-fast responsiveness</li>
<li>Be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible and well-organized</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Be self-motivated with superior time management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills</li>
<li>Strong command of Microsoft Office products</li>
<li>Be results driven and of unquestionable integrity</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and speak English fluently</li></ul> 


NICE-TO-HAVES
<ul>
<li>Experience in a hyper-growth, startup environment</li>
<li>Previous experience working in NetSuite or a similar cloud-based ERP system</li>
<li>A passion for boating or experience in the marine industry in a supply chain role</li></ul> 


MORE DETAILS YOU'LL WANT TO KNOW
<ul>
<li>You&rsquo;ll be based onsite in our Ft. Myers, FL location, with a minimum of three days per week in office</li>
<li>You&rsquo;ll report to our Director of Operations</li>
<li>Travel up to 30% of the time mostly visiting our supply partners and 3PL facility in Charlotte, NC</li></ul>
