Will manage the daily logistics, access control, and safety of commercial or high-rise loading docksFormer Police and Military are encouraged to apply.Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am-6pmType: Full-time (40 hours a week)Pay: $25.00 per hourResponsibilities:<ul><li>Secure property and personnel by standing on post, scanning and controlling facilities, grounds and access points</li><li>Implement and practice security procedures and protocols</li><li>Maintain a secure and safe environment by monitoring access control systems along with fire and trespassing exits</li><li>Strong ability to be attentive to detail and observant of surroundings</li><li>Knowledge of operating walkie-talkie, two-way radio transceivers, and answering service calls for assistance</li><li>Acknowledge, review, and respond to all operational alarms and security-related situations</li><li>Utilize the Closed-Circuit Television (&ldquo;CCTV&rdquo;)</li><li>Complete accurate and concise reports by recording observations, occurrences, information, and surveillance activities.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service experience by greeting incoming guests and tenants, providing information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitor</li><li>Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to security and safety</li><li>Manage scheduled delivery windows, verify shipment manifests, and direct trucks to the correct loading bays</li><li>Screen personnel, monitor visitors, and control vehicle entry and exit to ensure only authorized individuals access the building or site.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Denver CO Security Guard License (Preferred)</li><li>A minimum of one (2) year work history in a security role</li><li>Experience working Loading Dock Post</li><li>Be at least 21 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Able to stand, walk for long periods of time without sitting or kneeling</li><li>Able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders</li><li>Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds</li><li>Display exceptional customer service and communication skills</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively by both orally and written with interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner</li><li>Ability to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisors</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectively</li><li>Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Weekly Pay</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul>There is no application deadline; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you able to work Monday - Friday 10am-6pm? </li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Loading Dock Master : 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Security : 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Denver Security License (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Denver, CO 80202 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
