Job Description</b></h2></div><div><p>
As an Automation Technical Service Representative (TSR) at Sealed Air, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging equipment at customer sites. Your primary focus will be diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, performing both preventative and emergency maintenance to ensure optimal system performance, and ensuring the reliability of automation systems.</p><p>
You will also play a key role in building customer relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to upsell equipment, services, and preventive maintenance (PM) agreements. Working closely with customers, you will aim to meet or exceed their packaging automation service needs, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Installation &amp; Integration:</b> Install, commission, and integrate Sealed Air&rsquo;s automated packaging systems at customer locations, ensuring systems are fully operational upon completion.</li><li><b>
Maintenance &amp; Service:</b> Perform both preventative and emergency maintenance to address mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, ensuring optimal system performance.</li><li><b>
Troubleshooting &amp; Diagnosis:</b> Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions both remotely (via phone) and on-site, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.</li><li><b>
Calibration &amp; Adjustment:</b> Calibrate and adjust machinery settings to ensure the highest product quality and operational efficiency.</li><li><b>
Customer Support &amp; Training:</b> Provide technical guidance and training to customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices of automated packaging equipment.</li><li><b>
Collaboration:</b> Work closely with leadership, engineering, and support teams to ensure customer issues are resolved, reported, and communicated for future system improvements.</li><li><b>
Service Documentation:</b> Document all service activities, including maintenance schedules, work orders, repairs, parts used, inventory management, and customer communications.</li><li><b>
Sales &amp; Upselling:</b> Identify opportunities for upselling service and maintenance agreements, along with elective services, directly with customers.</li><li><b>
Customer Relationship Management:</b> Maintain professional relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries or concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li><b>
Health &amp; Safety Compliance:</b> Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols during service activities to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li><b>
Travel Requirements:</b> Travel to customer locations within the region as needed, with the flexibility to work occasional nights or weekends.</li><li><b>
Organizational Skills:</b> Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to independently schedule weekly activities and prioritize tasks.</li><li><b>

Education:</b> Associate&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related field, with demonstrated field experience; or a minimum of 3-4 years in a similar technical role.</li><li><b>
Technical Expertise:</b> Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated packaging systems, robotics, or comparable machinery.</li><li><b>
Mechanical &amp; Electrical Knowledge:</b> Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and PLC/control systems, as well as experience with external industrial automation systems such as conveyors and packaging machinery.</li><li><b>
System Interpretation:</b> Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting purposes.</li><li><b>
Industry Safety Awareness:</b> Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols, particularly in manufacturing environments.</li><li><b>
Communication Skills:</b> Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with customers, team members, and leadership.</li><li><b>
