<p>About the role<br/></p><p>The Technology Support Analyst supports the needs of Seaport Entertainment Group&rsquo;s business by leveraging a basic understanding of the hospitality and entertainment business to ensure continuous operational availability for SEG&rsquo;s technology environment. This position is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for all desktop, POS, audio, and video environments ensuring reliability and performance. This role involves resolving incidents, analyzing issues, maintaining documentation, and collaborating closely with vendors, users, and other IT teams to deliver proper solutions and improve the IT teams&rsquo; performance. This is a seasonal role, expected to last approximately 6 months, depending on business needs.<br/></p><p>ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<br/></p><p>Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:<br/></p><p>Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the following environments: desktop, POS, audio, and video.<br/></p><p>Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technology incidents and service requests.<br/></p><p>Provide the support &amp; deployment of end user devices, network wireless equipment, and mobile devices.<br/></p><p>Perform patching and cross-connects, conduct basic network troubleshooting, assist with network hardware setup and maintenance, and collaborate to ensure network reliability.<br/></p><p>Assist in services for events and temporary technology setups that include site surveys, defining requirements and collaborating with other IT resources to plan and deploy necessary hardware and software to facilitate these events.<br/></p><p>Investigate technology issues and ensure an overall smooth user experience. Actively participate in Incident and Problem Investigations to triage, gather data, provide hands on support, and communicate information to business &amp; stakeholders of real time developments during service disruptions and/or high-risk problems that may impact operations.<br/></p><p>Provide tier 1 and 2 support for the endpoint environment, troubleshooting issues in collaboration with IT management, application services and 3rd party teams.<br/></p><p>Non-Standard office hours and weekend work.<br/></p><p>Other duties as assigned.<br/></p><p>EXPERIENCE &amp; EDUCATION<br/></p><p>A college degree or currently studying in computer science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.<br/></p><p>Some knowledge of point-of-sale applications<br/></p><p>Basic ability with the Microsoft 365 platform<br/></p><p>Experience in the hospitality (Food &amp; Beverage) and/or entertainment industry is a plus<br/></p><p>Good problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/></p><p>Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with cross-functional teams.<br/></p><p>Physical Requirements<br/></p><p>Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.<br/></p><p>Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 &ndash; 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).<br/></p><p>Ability to stand for long periods of time.<br/></p><p>Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour<br/></p><p>OUR BENEFITS<br/></p><p>Taking care of our people is at the heart of everything we do and we&rsquo;re committed to supporting our team with benefits that promote well-being, balance, and growth. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for welcoming/greeting guests to the restaurant and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. The Host duties include maintaining a waitlist of guests during service, distributing menus, confirming restaurant contact information to guests, accepting phone calls, making and adjusting reservations, as well as working with the service team to ensure the restaurant is seated in a timely and efficient manner.
