 What will the Infrastructure Engineer be doing?
 
 
 
 Maintaining, securing, and enhancing multi-classification virtualised environments across public, private, and hybrid cloud systems. The role covers monitoring, incident management, controlled maintenance, and ensuring platforms remain secure and compliant, alongside continuous skills development, stakeholder support, and knowledge sharing to improve performance and team capability.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Infrastructure Engineer Should Have&hellip;

 Active security clearance at MoD DV level &ndash; due to the nature of the client and role, we can only consider candidates who hold a British passport.

 Be willing to work full-time on client site in Farnborough

 Essential Skills Required:

 Windows Server 2016+ administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF.
 </li>
 <li>
 Azure/Microsoft 365 administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu).
 </li>
 <li>
 PowerShell. EUD provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching and hardening
 </li>
 <li>
 SSO &ndash; concepts and operation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of working in secure environments.
 </li>

 What will the Data Engineer be Doing?
 
 
 
 You will develop mission-critical data solutions and manage pipelines that transform diverse data sources into valuable insights for our client&rsquo;s National Security customers. You will collaborate with clients to solve complex challenges, utilising distributed computing techniques to handle large-scale, real-time, and unstructured data.
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities include:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design and develop data pipelines, including ingestion, orchestration, and ETL processing (e.g., NiFi).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure data consistency, quality, and security across all processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and maintain database schemas and data models.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate and enrich data from diverse sources, maintaining data integrity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and enhance existing architectural components such as Data Ingest and Data Stores.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within integrated (enriched) data systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the scrum team to decompose user requirements into epics and stories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Write clean, secure, and reusable code following a test-driven development approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor system performance and implement updates to maintain optimal operation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 The Data Engineer Should Have:

 Active eDV clearance (West)
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to work full-time on-site in Gloucester when required.
