As Business Office Director, you&rsquo;ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day.

Your Role:

As the Business Office Director, your role includes overseeing the financial, billing, payroll, and human resources functions of the community. You will manage the business office staff, maintain compliance and accuracy in all processes, and provide exceptional service to residents, families, and team members.

Position Highlights:

<li>Status: FULL TIME</li>
<li>Schedule: Flexible leadership schedule with MOD coverage, on-call responsibilities, and operational flexibility required based on community needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency support as needed. 830am-5pm Mon-Fri</li>
<li>Location: 700 Port St, Bldg 100, Easton, MD 2160</li>
<li>Rate of Pay: $60k-$65k Annually</li>
<li>Travel: 0%</li>
</ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Oversee business office operations, including billing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and resident accounts</li>
<li>Prepare, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records, including cash controls, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements</li>
<li>Collaborate with department leaders to assign and track departmental expenses and budgets; prepare financial and management reports as needed</li>
<li>Maintain resident, vendor, team member, and financial files in accordance with policies and compliance requirements</li>
<li>Partner with residents and families to resolve billing and collection matters professionally and accurately</li>
<li>Lead community human resources processes including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, and record maintenance</li>
<li>Guide department leaders on employee relations, policy compliance, and performance management</li>
<li>Oversee employee engagement and safety initiatives, including appreciation programs, safety committee leadership, and workplace injury reporting</li>
<li>Conduct exit interviews and prepare regular reports for community leadership</li>
<li>Supervise, train, and coach concierge staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all processes</li>
<li>Ensure corporate policies and internal controls are consistently applied</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned to support community operations</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or related field with at least one year of accounting experience preferred</li>
<li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Accounting with two to three years of related experience considered</li>
<li>Experience in business office management, payroll, or human resources encouraged</li>
<li>Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Proficiency in financial systems, human resources information systems, and Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members</li>

The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages and providing information of a general nature.

Responsibilities:

<li>Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.</li>
<li>Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.</li>
<li>Greets residents and visitors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.</li>
<li>Collates brochures for the marketing department.</li>
<li>Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff.</li>
<li>Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily; Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary.</li>
<li>Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.</li>
<li>Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.</li>

<li>Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.</li>

Qualifications:

Our community is looking for a Care/Medication Technician to join our team.

The Care Giver/Med Tech role includes providing hands on care, physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

Care Giver:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; knows where their residents are and physically checks on them throughout the shift.</li>
<li>Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes in condition such as skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary and participation in activities.</li>
<li>Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.</li>
<li>Notifies supervisor and/or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.</li>
<li>Assists with continence management and disposes of all continence products properly to ensure sanitation of resident suite and community restrooms.</li>
<li>Serves and collects food trays and assists as needed; reports refusal of meals or loss of appetite.</li>
<li>Maintains cleanliness of resident&rsquo;s room and work areas.</li>
<li>Practices good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene and health.</li>
<li>Helps residents maintain independence, promotes dignity and physical safety of each resident.</li>
<li>Actively participates/leads and assists residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.</li>
<li>Engages residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.</li>
<li>Greets and assists all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors and team members.</li>
<li>Does resident laundry as assigned and needed.</li>
</ul>
Medication Tech duties:
<ul>
<li>Reviews service plan to learn pertinent information about residents.</li>
<li>Assists/observes medications and treatments for each resident using the medication observation record and the Six Rights of Medication Pass.</li>
<li>Documents and initials form as medications are given including appropriate documentation for refusal or missed doses.</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of all resident information including resident medication.</li>
<li>Reports all resident concerns made while assisting resident with the medication to the Nurse and/or Health Care Coordinator (HCC).</li>
<li>Restocks medication cart after all medication passes.</li>
<li>Assists in checking medication regardless of packaging system.</li>
<li>Counts all narcotics with another Medication Care Manager or Nurse each shift.</li>
<li>Maintains and cleans the Medication Room, med charts, treatment carts for neatness cleanliness, availability of medications and expired medications.</li>
<li>Follows re-fill process for medications.</li>
<li>Participates in the development of the Service Plan and monthly updates.</li>
<li>Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration rates.</li>
<li>Reports occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, sharp sticks and hazardous chemicals immediately.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Certified Nurse&rsquo;s Aid certification preferred.</li>
<li>High School diploma/GED</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age.</li>
<li>CPR Certification preferred</li>
<li>First Aid Certification preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience working with seniors preferred.</li>
</ul>
