This role demands strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and cross-functional coordination to meet production and operational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing &amp; Vendor Management&middot; Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.&middot; Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and quality.&middot; Maintain and update approved vendor lists and supplier performance metrics.Purchase Operations&middot; Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.&middot; Track order status and ensure timely delivery to avoid production delays.&middot; Coordinate with stores and finance for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and invoice processing.Cost Optimization &amp; Market Intelligence&middot; Conduct market research to benchmark prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.&middot; Analyze spend data and suggest strategic sourcing initiatives.&middot; Monitor commodity price trends and their impact on procurement budgets.Compliance &amp; Documentation&middot; Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory standards.&middot; Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.&middot; Support internal and external audits with required documentation.Cross-Functional Collaboration&middot; Work closely with production, planning, quality, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.&middot; Resolve supply chain bottlenecks and escalate critical issues to senior management.Qualifications&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration.&middot; 4&ndash;6 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in manufacturing.&middot; Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and procurement modules.&middot; Knowledge of import/export procedures and vendor development is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;60,363.28 - &#8377;65,779.02 per month
