<div>We are currently seeking a Junior Business Software Engineer to work in a hybrid capacity (home/office). Reporting directly to the Technical &amp; Digital Services Divisional Director, the role will involve developing, maintaining, and improving internal tools, automations, and integrations across the business. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you&rsquo;ll help streamline processes and deliver efficient, scalable solutions. 
The Role<ul><li>
Assist in developing and maintaining internal applications and tools</li><li>
Support automation of business processes (e.g. reporting, workflows)</li><li>
Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs</li><li>
Collaborate with IT, operations, and other departments to gather requirements</li><li>
Help integrate systems via APIs (e.g. CRM, finance systems, monitoring platforms)</li><li>
Maintain documentation for systems and processes</li><li>
Support testing, deployment, and updates of internal tools</li></ul> 
The Candidate 
Must possess some or all of the following:<ul><li>
Basic knowledge of programming (e.g. Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)</li><li>
Understanding of databases and SQL fundamentals (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server,</li><li>
PostgreSQL)</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>
 Good communication and teamwork skills</li><li>
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills</li><li>
Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, APIs)</li><li>
Familiarity with system integrations or automation</li><li>
Knowledge of version control (e.g. Git)</li><li>
Exposure to business systems such as CRMs (e.g. Zoho CRM)</li><li>
Interest in cloud platforms or modern development tools</li></ul>
