<ul><li>Assisting customers, managing inventory, processing sales, and maintaining the store's appearance and organization.</li><li>Process payments at a point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit card transactions, and promote special offers.</li><li>Restock shelves, organize merchandise, conduct inventory checks, and assist with receiving new stock.</li><li>Keep the sales floor, stockrooms, and displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.</li><li>Support store managers and other staff with daily operations and tasks.</li><li>The ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy items may be required.</li><li>Store assistants need strong communication and customer service skills, reliability, punctuality, technology familiarity, and practical abilities like teamwork, flexibility, and time management to succeed in fast-paced retail environments.</li><li>They are knowledgeable about the products and services that a store provides.
