Role:
An Armed Patrol Security Officer safeguards people and property through patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response, while carrying a firearm, exercising sound judgment, completing reports, coordinating with law enforcement, and providing professional customer service in compliance with all licensing and legal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License</li><li>
Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li>
Must complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permit</li><li>
Must possess a valid state-issued driver&rsquo;s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)</li></ul>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
Security Operations<ul><li>
Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.</li><li>
Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.</li><li>
Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.</li></ul>
Incident Response &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.</li><li>
Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.</li><li>
Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.</li></ul>
Customer Service &amp; Professionalism<ul><li>
Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.</li><li>
Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).</li><li>
Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.</li></ul>
Required Skills &amp; Abilities:

Availability to work weekends.</li><li>
Strong situational awareness and curiosity.</li><li>

Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.</li><li>
Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.</li><li>
Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.</li><li>
Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating, and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.</li><li>
Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.</li><li>
