<div>About the role:
The Loss Prevention Specialist provides additional support to the retail operations by deterring theft and performing arrests as necessary. Loss Prevention Specialists ensure that the client, its associates, and customers are provided with a safe and pleasant working and shopping environment. This position reports to the Regional Security Retail Manager of the area to which they are assigned. 
In this role, your responsibilities will be:<ul><li>Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters</li><li>Recover asset and/or make safe apprehensions</li><li>Maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and the preservation of evidence</li><li>Prepare incident reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and other activities as assigned</li><li>Testify in court concerning any criminal or civil case</li><li>Perform other related duties as required</li></ul>

The focus of the ODO is specialized client management with a focus on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Management can be implemented through one-on-one security protection, residential protection, and/or an elaborate tracking or monitoring system.
