We are located in Baltimore, Maryland and we are interested in hiring a full time procurement and logistics specialistJob Responsibilities:&middot; Enter Purchase Orders into the accounting system (Unanet)&middot; Track Purchase Orders and assist with managing shared Purchase Order folders&middot; Contact vendors to expedite ordering and shipping when needed&middot; Work with accounting to resolve any vendor invoice issues&middot; Process and scan packing slips from incoming equipment&middot; Account for receipt of all line items on individual Purchase Orders as equipment is received&middot; Assist warehouse manager with logistics and material inventory/counting&middot; Communicate with new vendors in order to create their profiles inside of the accounting system&middot; Inventory and order office, warehouse or cleaning supplies when needed&middot; Ensure line items on vendor equipment invoices represent equipment that has been received&middot; Assist with warehouse inventories when needed&middot; Assist with preparing shipments when needed&middot; Assist with warranty tracking efforts when neededRequired Work Experience and Skills:&middot; Shipping/Receiving/Logistics/Procurement experience desired&middot; Written and verbal communications skills required&middot; Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) knowledge required&middot; Organizational skills&middot; Must be able to pass a Federal Government background check (criminal and civil check).&middot; Must be authorized to work in the United StatesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb; stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; lift, use hands to finger, use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; light lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.
