<div></div><div><div><b>Purpose of Position:</b> To purchase and schedule delivery of materials on time and coordinate movements within the ERP system throughout logistics and into production.</div><p><b>

Researches and evaluates new vendors</li><li>
Enhances vendor relationships</li><li>
Establishes payment terms with vendors</li><li>
Reviews requisitions for goods and services</li><li>
Places orders for consumable materials, services, and inventory parts: monitors and expedites orders</li><li>
Responsible for completing tasks and projects within the scheduled timeframe and meeting department deadlines</li><li>
Purchases the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in the correct quantities</li><li>
Verifies available funds with Finance on pre-paid orders</li><li>
Monitors shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and proper certification received</li><li>
Requests RMA&rsquo;s on defective material</li><li>
Maintains and reviews records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, and inventories</li><li>
Works closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, and Finance</li><li>
Assists in quoting material for in-house projects and sales solicitations</li><li>
Travels as required</li><li>
Confers with manager to recommend changes such as: equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase efficiency of department and promote improvement.</li><li>
Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner</li><li>
Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy</li><li>
Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g. Safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)</li><li>
Works overtime as needed</li><li>

Must be at least 18 years old or older.</li><li>
Ability to provide verifications of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy ITAR/EAR restrictions</li><li>
Demonstrated time, priority, and stress management skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among co-workers and supervisors</li><li>
Must be able to work with little or no supervision and to take initiative</li><li>
Must be able to use applied knowledge to formulate positive solutions to problem situations</li><li>
Must be able to apply common sense</li><li>
Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English</li><li>
Must have intermediate Microsoft computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn and be proficient in company-specific software.</li><li>
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using fractions and decimals; compute percentages, ratios, rates and interpret graphs</li><li>
Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to properly wear all applicable PPE</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly and more, with assistance occasionally</li><li>
Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses</li><li>
Must be able to hear running machinery</li><li>
Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively</li><li>
Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination</li><li>
Must regularly be able to reach overhead</li><li>
Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist and stand</li><li>
Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally</li></ul></div><p></p><div><b><br>

Experience and Education Requirements:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED is required.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Two (2) years of experience working with ERP systems is required.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Three (3) years of procurement experience working in an aviation, industrial or manufacturing environment is required.</li><li>
Strong knowledge and / or experience in inventory control is highly preferred.</li><li>
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Work Conditions:</b></div><div>
Generally works in an office environment. Occasionally, exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and loud noise.</div><div><i>
