Purpose of Position:</b> To manage the department and personnel in the successful completion of quality products as directed, following company policies, SOPs and Repair Station Manual.</p><p><b>
Essential Functions:</b><b> </b>(must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation)</p><ul><li>
Supervises/coordinates the production of Product line WIP.</li><li>
Manages, directs, trains, and works along side Shop Leads to ensure timely completion of product.</li><li>
Trains, coaches, and develops employees as necessary to ensure production goals are met and proper procedures and policies are followed.</li><li>
Addresses conflicts and strives to resolve them in a positive manner that benefits all parties and facilitates healthy work relationships.</li><li>
Timely completes, approves, and adjusts time and attendance/labor reporting as required.</li><li>
Ensures diligent and accurate use of the production software system.</li><li>
Fills in and performs duties of Shop Leads as necessary.</li><li>
Performs maintenance and preventive maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories, and components in accordance with SAC Repair Station Manual, SAC Quality Manual, Customer SOP&rsquo;s, and applicable technical data.</li><li>
Responsible for holding production meetings with the technicians, inspectors, and other team members as required.</li><li>
Responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance department in completing Corrective Action Reports with the applicable Lead Technician.</li><li>
Responsible for assisting the Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Quality Assurance departments in the successful completion of all company goals and objectives.</li><li>
Responsible for completing employee reviews and documenting work performance.</li><li>
Responsible for coaching, counseling, and holding employees accountable as required.</li><li>
Accountable for ensuring that shelf-life requirements are met throughout the department.</li><li>
Accountable for ensuring that 6S, TPM, tool control, OJT and all other quality requirements are met throughout the department.</li><li>
Accountable for maintaining complete and accurate production reports and shop production boards.</li><li>
Accountable for ensuring WIP is processed correctly and efficiently in accordance with the company production schedule.</li><li>
Accountable for maintaining appropriate levels of qualified personnel within the department to achieve company goals.</li><li>
Accountable for ensuring all Production Department deadlines are met.</li><li>
Accountable for ensuring monthly revenue numbers are met.</li><li>
Accountable for ordering materials, consumables, tooling and other assets required in the Production Department.</li><li>
Maintains and supports cost control efforts for labor and material to support facility/department financial goals.</li><li>
Travels as required.</li><li>
Confers with Management to recommend changes such as: equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase efficiency of department and promote improvement.</li><li>
Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner.</li><li>
Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy.</li><li>
Observes and practices all safety procedures and PPE requirements (e.g. safety glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.) and ensures others comply with safety requirements.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>

Must have proficient knowledge of major aviation departments: Inspection, Engine, Accessory Components, Propeller, NDT</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to support the business needs</li><li>
Must have strong project management skills.</li><li>
Must be able to effectively communicate with and manage diverse groups and individuals.</li><li>
Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers and or employees.

Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, special tools, and GSE required to perform assigned maintenance tasks.</li><li>
Must be able to read and interpret SDS and Technical Data Sheets to safely mix paints in accordance with specifications.</li><li>
Must be able to apply common sense.</li><li>
Must be able to effectively read, write, speak and understand English language</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and the ability to learn other company specific software
</li><li>Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using fractions and decimals; compute percentages, ratios, rates and interpret graphs.</li><li>
Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to properly wear all applicable PPE as required</li><li>
Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses</li><li>
Must be able to hear running machinery</li><li>
Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively</li><li>
Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and more, with assistance occasionally</li><li>
Must regularly be able to reach overhead</li><li>
Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and stand</li><li>
Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally</li><li>
Ability to provide verifications of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy ITAR/EAR restrictions</li></ul><p><b>
 </b><b>Experience and Education Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
At least 18 years of age or older and a High School Diploma or GED is required.</li><li>
Minimum five years of supervisory experience working in an MRO environment is required.</li><li>
Minimum eight years performing/supervising maintenance T56/501 engines and QECs.</li><li>
Must carry a current &ldquo;in process&rdquo; inspection stamp (triangle stamp).</li><li>
Must pass criminal background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen and comply with all applicable FAA required regulations.</li><li>
Position is considered safety-sensitive in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations. Subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA&rsquo;s regulations (14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40).</li><li>
A&amp;P license or FAA Power Plant Rating required. In lieu of holding an A&amp;P or P license, must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate by satisfying the requirements as called out in the FAR.</li></ul><p>
 <b>Work Conditions:</b></p><p>
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise is generally loud.</p><p>
