About the Role:

The Human Resources Intern will assist the HR Total Rewards team with a multitude of projects and day-to-day tasks while being exposed to a wide scope of information in the areas of compensation planning benefits administration and leave of absence management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:<ul><li>
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.</li></ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist the HR Total Rewards team with compensation projects</li><li>
Assist the HR Benefits team with benefits educational resources</li><li>
Assist the HR Leave of Absence team with educational resources</li><li>
Complete daily activities such as reaching out to associates for life event supporting documents working on benefit team reporting needs</li><li>
Learn about the best practices of Human Resources and various HR tools</li></ul>
Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>
Possess a positive outlook and friendly attitude</li><li>
Ability to receive coaching and a desire to enhance learning</li><li>
Has a self-starter attitude with a high level of motivation</li><li>
Ability to adapt and use new technologies in the workplace</li><li>
High level of attention to detail while providing accurate data aligned with departmental standards</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Currently enrolled in Junior or Senior year of college/university</li><li>
Degree focused in Human Resources Business or related field</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li></ul>
