</ul><div></div><div><div><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b></div>
</div><div>Select Water Solutions&rsquo; Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems, repairing and rebuilding equipment on or off-site. Will maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements, correcting vehicle deficiencies, making adjustments, and alignments, and keeping records. Each employee is responsible and accountable for conducting their job tasks in a safe, healthy, and environmentally prudent manner.</div><br>
<div></div><div><b>The essential job functions include, but are not limited to</b></div>
<ul><li>Maintain transportation fleet in a manner that ensures the safety and protection of employees, clients and general public including the environment.</li>
<li>Conducting periodic inspections.</li>
<li>Reviewing daily pre and post-trip reports.</li>
<li>Correcting identified deficiencies.</li>
<li>Scheduling and oversight of major repairs.</li>
<li>Completing required documentation.</li>
<li>Excellent communication will be required; Open communication with management on status of repairs and/or maintenance.</li>
<li>Ensuring a clean, safe work environment at all times.</li>
<li>Maintaining shop and field maintenance equipment including periodic calibration where required.</li>
<li>Identifying and maintaining an inventory of high-use, common maintenance items.</li>
<li>Function &ldquo;on-call&rdquo; in order to respond to emergency call-outs.</li>
<li>Controlling costs of in-house and outsourced maintenance or repairs thru use of warranty and vendor evaluation.</li><br>

<div></div><div><b>Requirements</b></div>
<div>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:</div>
<ul><li>Must possess valid driver&rsquo;s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select&rsquo;s insurance guidelines.</li>
<li>Heavy duty truck mechanic experience.</li>
<li>Diagnosing &amp; Repairing Diesel Exhaust Aftertreatment systems.</li>
<li>Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, mechanical, diesel engine problems, as well as hydraulic, pump, and vacuum equipment.</li>
<li>Experience working on tractor trailers.</li>
<li>Basic welding skills.</li>
<li>Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of computer/lap top.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, preferred.</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of hand tools/power tools.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to off-site locations for repair.</li>
<li>Must be able to use battery and charging system test equipment.</li>

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.<br>

<ul><li>Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.</li>
<li>Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.</li>
<li>Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.</li>
<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li>
<li>Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs.</li><br>
