JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Select’s Disposal Operator is responsible for assuring safe and efficient operation of the disposal well system. Maintain quality control and assure complete compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing environmental compliance, worker safety and underground injection well regulations.
 
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
 <ul>
<li>Overall maintenance, upkeep and appearance of disposal area.</li>
<li>Gauge and records necessary information pertaining to the retrieval of oil, water and pressure daily.</li>
<li>Monitor water pumps and trucks when disposing salt water.</li>
<li>Retrieve oil from working pit/tanks.</li>
<li>Unload lines, discharge and relieve valves or other equipment related to disposal of fluids.</li>
<li>Generate and document third-party tickets and other forms of documentation in support of disposal.</li>
<li>Meet compliance requirements with county, state, and federal regulatory rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Ensure tickets are completed with accuracy and signed by drivers.</li>
<li>Ensure smooth transition from day to night attendants: communicate current status and potential issues prior to end of shift.</li>
<li>Perform daily follow up calls with drivers/pushers to ensure delivery of fluid.</li>
<li>Attend company meetings as requested.</li>
<li>Follow company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Improve utilization efficiently, driver compliance.</li>
<li>Ensure immediate work area is neat and orderly to ensure safety of workers.</li>
<li>Report and correct unsafe conditions of practices.</li>

<li>Ability to work 12 hour shifts.</li>
<li>Working knowledge and understanding of disposal business.</li>
<li>Ability to lubricate equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to climb staircase and work on catwalk of 15’-25’.</li>
<li>Ability to download and use inspection applications.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines.</li>
<li>Extremely dependable and reliable.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li>

Compensation Information
 Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
 
Physical Demands and Exposures
 <ul>
<li>Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.</li>
<li>Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.</li>
<li>Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.</li>
<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li>
