Perform highly skilled and highly technical HVAC maintenance and repair tasks on commercial HVAC equipment in adherence with applicable code and industry standards. Operate, maintain and repair HVAC equipment including but not limited to air handlers, fan coils, boilers and water heating equipment, chillers, condensers, pneumatic controls, cooling towers, dampers, building automation systems, exhaust fans, ice machines, pumps, VAV boxes, variable speed drives, ductwork and diffusers.</div><div></div><div><br>
May perform tasks involving the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting trades. Prepare detailed and accurate lists of materials for jobs and projects. Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports.</div><div></div><div><br>
Respond and take action in emergency situations to prevent potentially hazardous conditions. Perform cleanup and worksite restoration activities.</div><div></div><div><br>
May interface with engineers and contractors while performing job-related tasks.</div><div></div><div><br>
Make technical decisions and develop and maintain records and reports. Follow safety procedures carefully at all times. Work independently under administrative direction.<br>

The incumbent will be required to perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary. The incumbent may be required to work overtime on weekends or during nighttime hours to respond to HVAC related emergencies.</div></div><p></p>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><div>High school diploma or GED and six (6) years verifiable experience performing repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.<br>

</div><div>A Florida Class E Drivers License is required.
</div><div></div><div>Familiarity with using software such as Word, Excel, CMMS, etc. is required.</div><div></div><div>
The ability to read and understand basic blueprints is required.</div><div></div><div>
An EPA Universal Refrigerant certification is required.</div></div><br>

<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Additional Requirements</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><div>Vocational/technical certification by a reputable institution as a Journeyman in the HVAC trade is required. A Florida licensed Mechanical or Air Conditioning Contractor&rsquo;s license is preferred.</div><div></div><div>
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to carry out written and oral instructions and to convey information to others. Must be capable of communicating effectively in English both orally and in writing.</div></div></div></div><p></p>

Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician - HVAC

Provides customer service and paraprofessional library work in a main library or library branch, which includes general reference, adult or children's programming.</p><p></p><p><br>
Responsible for providing quality customer service, maintains level of efficiency and standards of service.</p><p></p><p><br>
Performs work using analytical, organizational, and communicative skills to assist people in finding information and using it effectively for professional and personal use.</p><p></p><p><br>
Plans and implements work activities and programming pertinent to the specialty area.</p><p></p><p><br>
Uses an integrated online operating system, print and electronic resources to assist customers.</p><p></p><p><br>
Prepares and submits regular and special statistical and other reports as requested.</p><p></p><p><br>
Selects books and materials for customers as part of the school library partnership. Gathers books on a specific topic for teacher pickup.</p><p></p><p><br>
Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.</p><p></p><p><br>

<p></p><div><div><i>Completion of Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years library experience is required.</i><br>

<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Additional Requirements</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><p>Knowledge of principles and practices of library science; library system organization; methods and techniques.</p><p></p><p><br>
Knowledge of literature and reading trends.</p><p></p><p><br>
Knowledge of an online, integrated library operating system, including knowledge of circulation functions, public catalog, and research functions.</p><p></p><p><br>
Proficiency with a PC and software at the level necessary to successfully complete the tasks of the job is required. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is required.</p><p></p><p><br>
Knowledge of reference services, virtual reference services and databases.</p><p></p><p><br>
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.</p><p></p><p><br>
All employees must attend Seminole County Required Trainings.</p><p></p><p><br>
Department Specific trainings per position may be required.</p><p></p><p><br>
Ability to communicate library mission, services, and resources to the public; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.</p></div></div></div><p></p>
