Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel &amp; Casino is our new resort that includes a casino with a total of nearly 38,000 square feet, including space for 640 slot machines and 18 tables for blackjack, craps, roulette, and other house-banked card games, along with high-stakes bingo action. Included in the totals are a smoke-free gaming space with 104 slot machines and a high-limit gaming area with 42 slot machines and four table games.

Responsibilities:

Position Summary: Support Human Resources by assisting with doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are on limited to:<ul><li>
Facilitate the hiring process by working with Human Resources (HR) staff and supervisors.</li><li>
Work with hiring managers and/or supervisors to ensure hiring process is completed correctly.</li><li>
Draft and/or revise job postings and ensure postings are externally advertised appropriately.</li><li>
Maintain current job descriptions for all position.</li><li>
Communicate and interact with applicants and candidates.</li><li>
Attend and recruit at various hiring events. As well as speak and coordinate with hiring agencies for recruitment purposes.</li><li>
Verify that all applicant data is accurately entered into applicable database(s).</li><li>
Assist with maintaining employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance.</li><li>
Preparing offer packets and other new employee related information.</li><li>
Coordinating new hire paperwork, and new hire orientation meetings.</li><li>
Updating job descriptions, as needed.</li><li>
Writing and placing employment ads, as well as maintaining the applicant tracking database.</li><li>
Reviewing, screening, and maintaining applications and resumes.</li><li>
Coordinating 90-day and annual performance appraisal processes.</li><li>
Assisting in preparation of special events such as Year End Celebration and other office or company gatherings.</li><li>
Assisting with additional projects, as assigned.</li><li>
Occasionally travels to other properties via car.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong math skills required.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from four year college or university preferred</li><li>
Two (2) years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience</li><li>
Must possess strong communication and presentation skills</li><li>
Must have a professional demeanor</li><li>
Must possess excellent attention to detail and be extremely organized</li><li>
The need for confidentiality is high</li><li>
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic math skills required</li><li>
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook required</li></ul> 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more.
