We take pride in offering a unique blend of legal expertise and a family-oriented, collegial environment that fosters personal and professional growth for our team.About the Litigation Legal Assistant PositionAs a litigation Legal Administrative Assistant at Senn Fortis, you will work as part of the litigation team supporting the attorneys and paralegals. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on breach of contract, real property matters, HOA disputes, partnership disputes, construction litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and arbitration matters.Responsibilities&middot; Calendaring of deadlines&middot; Document and pleading preparation and editing (including transcription)&middot; E-filing (CCEF, Denver County Court, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts)&middot; Preparation of mailings/FedEx&middot; Maintaining updated client lists&middot; Assisting with evictions&middot; Preparing pleading and exhibit indexes&middot; Assist with document productions&middot; Trial/Hearing/Mediation Notebooks&middot; Corresponding with court clerks and transcriptionists&middot; Assistance with maintaining document database systems for discovery and disclosure documents (Logikcull, Dropbox, etc.)Qualifications&middot; Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in a litigation support position&middot; Excellent computer/word processing and proof-reading skills&middot; Knowledge of Colorado state and federal court rules and procedures&middot; Experience in preparation and e-filing of litigation documents&middot; Experience with trial preparation, including exhibit and trial notebooks&middot; Exceptional attention to detail&middot; Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines&middot; Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team&middot; Ability to problem solve&middot; Ability to handle workload from multiple attorneysWe provide a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, disability, dental and vision insurance as well as a 401(k) plan with employer contribution and paid parking.
