This is an hourly, non-exempt position that starts at $19 - $24 per hour (dependent on experience).

This position works 4, 10-hour shifts each week (that's 3 days off each week!!).

We are looking for individuals who are respectful, hard-working, have an eye for detail, work with a sense of urgency, and enjoy working outdoors!

Experience in irrigation work is highly valued for this role!
Position Summary

Individually or as part of a crew, responsible for performing a range of property manual labor duties including, but not limited to, one or more of the following: property clean up, operating an aerator/spreader/seeder, sprinkler and irrigation work, parks maintenance, mowing, snow removal, and holiday decor. Provides service to residential or commercial customers by making timely lawn/landscape maintenance through service calls and other customer communications.

Position Description

The essential functions for this position are as follows:
<ul>
<li>Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls;</li>
<li>Gather and remove litter</li>
<li>Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches, using hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers
</li><li>Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws</li>
<li>(Winter work) Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas</li>
<li>Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes</li>
<li>(Winter work) Install holiday lights to commercial and/or residential buildings using ladders and harnesses</li>
<li>Expected to have regular attendance for scheduled shifts, and to notify supervisor within a timely manner of absenteeism or tardiness</li>
<li>Maintain a neat and clean appearance as outlined in Senske&rsquo;s employee handbook.</li>
<li> Follow safety regulations and work in a safe manner</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Must Haves:
<ul>
<li>Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving</li>
<li>Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).</li>
<li>At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)</li>
<li>Previous lawn care experience preferred</li>
<li>Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires</li>
<li>Friendly and dedicated to great customer service</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and as part of a crew</li>
<li>Able to solve and analyze situations and determine the appropriate resolution
</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively</li>
<li>Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to understand and meet customer needs</li>
<li>Ability to work in varying weather conditions</li>
