Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns, ensuring their safety and comfort while supporting their families during challenging times. This role requires a strong clinical background in neonatal nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for neonates in the NICU.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment used in the care of premature and critically ill infants.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.</li><li>Provide emotional support and education to families regarding their infant's condition and care needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the NICU.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.</li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.</li><li>Previous experience in a NICU or pediatric nursing setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; additional certifications such as STABLE or CCRN-NIC may be beneficial.</li><li>Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care and family support.
