Job Title: Per Diem Event Waitstaff / ServerCompany Overview We are a professional event staffing company seeking reliable and polished waitstaff to join our team on a per diem basis. Our events range from intimate private gatherings to large-scale corporate functions, offering a dynamic and flexible work environment.Position Summary As a Professional Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring each event runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, personable, and thrive in fast-paced event settings.Key Responsibilities Our Professional Servers provide the following services:<ul><li>Assistance with any last-minute event setup</li><li>Warmly greeting guests upon arrival</li><li>Passing hors d&rsquo;oeuvres, setting up buffet stations, and serving food</li><li>Clearing dishes and tables throughout the event</li><li>Organizing and properly storing leftover food</li><li>Setting up dessert displays and coffee/tea service</li><li>Removing garbage and recyclables</li><li>Washing and tidying any dishes left in the sink</li><li>Ensuring all service areas are neat, organized, and clean before departure</li></ul>Bartending services include:Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences</li><li>Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations</li><li>Check identification to verify legal drinking age</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized bar area</li><li>Monitor customer behavior to prevent over-intoxication</li><li>Restock bar inventory, including alcohol, mixers, and supplies</li><li>Follow health, safety, and alcohol service regulations</li><li>Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment</li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure</li><li>Attention to detail and cleanliness</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight</li><li>Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred</li><li>Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred but not required</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous hospitality or event service experience preferred</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$25/hour plus tips</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Flexible, per diem scheduling</li><li>Opportunity to work a variety of events</li><li>Supportive and professional team environment</li></ul>If you enjoy creating memorable guest experiences and working in a dynamic setting, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you!Pay: $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
