Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.</li><li>Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.</li><li>Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.</li><li>Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.</li><li>Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.</li><li>Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.</li><li>Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer&rsquo;s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>First aid and CPR certification are preferred.</li><li>Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs.</li><li>Ability to assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental disabilities.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.</li><li>Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.</li><li>Cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to client preferences and dietary restrictions.
