Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):
<ul>
<li>Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as required</li>
<li>Responsible to supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility</li>
<li>See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)</li>
<li>Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24 - hour report. Follow up on residents as needed</li>
<li>Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/ incident reports, physician's orders and treatment records</li>
<li>Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours</li>
<li>Checks to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning</li>
</ul>
Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor:
<ul>
<li>RN Nursing Supervisor Required experience: Long term care: 1 year</li>
<li>Required license or certification for RN Nursing Supervisor: IN Registered Nurse License</li>
<li>Required experience: Nursing: 1 year</li>
<li>RN Supervisor: 1 year</li>
<li>Required license or certification: RN - Registered Nurse</li></ul></div>
