Position Summary: 
The Residential Sales Consultant is an outside sales position responsible for developing and closing residential sales and services opportunities through customer education and presentations, using traditional lead-generation techniques as well as internal, lead pipelines. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Present comfort options of residential HVAC and water heater products and services to new and established customers.</li><li>
Bolster the customer experience through a consultative sales approach focused on customer retention and satisfaction.</li><li>
Create relationships with prospective customer and referral as well initiating calls to generate sales.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with technical team members, onsite, to promote and ensure a 100% customer satisfaction experience.</li><li>
Remain up to date on the latest industry trends, service methods, systems and technology available within the market and the business.</li></ul> 
Desired Skills and Qualifications 
Our Residential Sales Consultant (RSC) are highly ambitious, results-oriented, and self-motivated individuals. Skilled in providing innovative, customer-related recommendations, developing effective proposals, handling negotiating and closing sales. To accomplish this, a successful RSC must possess:<ul><li>
At least a High school degree or GED. A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or related professional sales certifications preferred.</li><li>
Prior sales experience, with a preference for experience with direct selling to consumers</li><li>
Strong selling and business-development skills.</li><li>
A demonstrated ability to effectively communication concepts to a variety of audiences.</li><li>
Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused service.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to understand customer concerns and translate that into business solutions the business can offer. . .</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record.</li><li>
Ability to consistently demonstrate a positive attendance record.</li><li>
Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.</li><li>
Ability to meet physical demands - climb ladders and/or attic stairs, to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units, in order to assess customer requirements and take measurements.</li></ul>

Pay: With base salary plus commission our Commercial Sales Consultants make on average between $85,000 to $130,000 annually. Top performers earn more! 
Job Summary 
The Commercial Sales Consultant drives revenue growth by expanding existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. This outside sales role focuses on commercial HVAC replacement, retrofit, service agreements, and leasing programs. The consultant builds long-term partnerships, delivers tailored solutions, and positions Engineering Excellence as the trusted partner of choice.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Grow revenue through new business development, including prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and networking.</li><li>
Expand relationships with existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upgrades, service agreements, and leasing solutions.</li><li>
Conduct consultative sales presentations, uncover customer needs, and deliver tailored HVAC and indoor-air quality solutions.</li><li>
Develop and present proposals, clearly explaining technical information and value-based leasing options.</li><li>
Achieve or exceed sales targets across revenue growth, close rate, service contracts, and leasing program adoption.</li><li>
Performs similar/other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Health &amp; Safety Responsibilities<ul><li>
Comply with all company and regulatory safety policies, procedures, and practices.</li><li>
Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately to management.</li><li>
Use and maintain required PPE; never remove or disable safety devices.</li><li>
Address unsafe conditions within control and actively support safety initiatives.</li><li>
Participate in safety training, committees, and continuous improvement efforts.</li></ul>
Desired Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, and account growth.</li><li>
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and organizational abilities; skilled at managing multiple priorities.</li><li>
Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts, practices, and procedures.</li><li>
Basic understanding of business accounting to understand job costing, profit margin, and cost of sales.</li><li>
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems preferred and ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales tools.</li><li>
Ability to stand, to walk, and to climb stairs and ladders to access HVAC equipment which is often on a rooftop of the commercial building. Ability to read product data and to take measurements.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable record.</li></ul>
