This position is responsible for concepting and building the client-side of our web applications. Must be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.Our company believes in the Ideal Team Player. We follow the model behaviors of Humble (quick to point out the contributions of others), Hungry (self-motivated and diligent), Smart (socially appropriate and aware), Safety-Minded (works to lower safety risks, Quality-Minded (take pride in their work) and Attendance (recognizes their presence is important).ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages</li><li>Maintain and improve existing and legacy websites</li><li>Optimize applications for maximum performance</li><li>Implement responsive layouts</li><li>Collaborate with back-end-developers and web designers to improve usability</li><li>Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers</li><li>Write functional requirement documents and guides</li><li>Create mockups and prototypes at various levels of fidelity &ndash; from simple wireframes to interactive</li><li>Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting</li><li>Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency utilizing shared components and styles</li><li>Stay up to date on emerging technologies</li></ul>NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication with company personnel and management to ensure a quick and satisfactory response</li><li>Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments</li><li>Ensures the work area is clean, secure, and well maintained</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer</li><li>Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds at times</li></ul>COMPENTENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:<ul><li>Experience concepting, wireframing, and prototyping user interfaces</li><li>Familiarity with design software like Adobe Suite and Figma</li><li>Understanding of layout aesthetics</li><li>Proven work experience as a front-end developer</li><li>Hands on experience with markup languages</li><li>Experience with semantic HTML, modern JavaScript, and CSS</li><li>Experience with at least one of the major JS frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular</li><li>Familiarity with browser testing and debugging</li><li>In-depth understanding of the entire web development process &ndash; design, development, and deployment</li><li>Knowledge of SEO principles</li><li>Knowledge of accessibility requirements</li><li>An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Able to change focus frequently and often while being detail orientated and well organized</li></ul>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:REQUIRED:<ul><li>BA/BS or equivalent combination of work experience and education in computer science</li><li>3+ years of experience (or equivalent) as a Front-end Developer</li></ul>PREFERRED:<ul><li>BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field</li></ul>The McAlear Group offers a full range of benefits for eligible employee including 401k, health and life insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), disability coverage, and PTO.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
