Servpro of Lafayette is hiring a Restoration Supervisor!

As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO&reg; brand, the Restoration Supervisor demonstrates the company&rsquo;s Here to Help&reg; commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Represent yourself and the SERVPRO Brand in a professional manner at all times.</li>
<li>Facilitate a positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction of services tracked with online reviews.</li>
<li>Communicate clear expectations to Restoration Technicians / general laborers and supervise their activities.</li>
<li>Coordinate and perform restoration processes according to IICRC guidelines as scheduled and ensure quality control.</li>
<li>Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.</li>
<li>Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.</li>
<li>Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.</li>
<li>Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects.</li>
<li>Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.</li>
<li>Coach and train Restoration technicians.</li>
<li>Communicate with Restoration manager and office staff on project progress and issues.</li>
<li>Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance, as assigned.</li>
<li>Oversee facility and grounds maintenance, as assigned.</li>
Continue development of Restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.

</li></ul>Position Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li>
<li>Clean driving record</li>
<li>Ability to pass a criminal background check</li>
<li>Must be available to work 40-60 hours per week, nights and weekends as needed.</li>
<li>Must be available 1-2 weeks per month for rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.</li>
<li>High school diploma/GED (Required)</li>
<li>At least 1 year of restoration experience (required)</li>
<li>Prior experience in a supervisory role (required)</li>
<li>One-year experience in construction (preferred)</li>
<li>IICRC certified (preferred)</li>
<li>One year experience with Docusketch, Xactimate, Xactanaylsis (preferred)</li>
</ul>Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies 
<ul>
<li>Comfortable utilizing industry specific technology, computers, tablets, laptops</li>
<li>Ability to learn to utilize company specific software, systems and processes.</li>
<li>Clear and effective communication (oral, verbal, and email).</li>
<li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance</li>
<li>Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)</li>
<li>Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects</li>
<li>Ability to work with/around cleaning agents</li>
