 The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company&rsquo;s market presence. This individual will identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships, foster client relationships, and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve organisational goals. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a proven track record in sales and business growth.
 
 
 Principal Accountabilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitors, maintaining a pipeline in the CRM.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand client needs, prepare and propose presentations of tailored solutions to align with their objectives, and build and maintain strong relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate and close deals to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure strategies align and customers are satisfied.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend industry events and conferences to expand your network and identify opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist local partner to solicit sales of new or additional services, including tender preparation and support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist local partner to identify customers, drilling campaigns and other informational sources to further penetrate local market.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be the Key Account Manager for the current client base.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supply and discuss pricing with customers, supplying quotations where required, assisting with larger tenders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure monthly Commercial administration and sales reporting is accurate and meets SES standard.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support and coordinate local marketing campaigns and customer events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Gather and present local market data including key customer activity, contract awards and competitor activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide necessary input and support for and Investment Models and business cases as required.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience in a hands-on customer facing or operational role and demonstrable ability to work independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of DNV2.7-1, 2 &amp; 3 and ISO 10855 standards relevant to Offshore Cargo Carrying Units.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent level of written and spoken English
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent computer skills i.e., High level of Excel and Word
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record in sales, business development or account management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Successful track record of generating new accounts or growing existing
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communicator and influencer to facilitate growth
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable organising clients meets with a strong presence when presenting to
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to develop professional relationships with clients (both internal and external)
 </li>
 <li>
 Willing to travel to regional locations
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
