The company is manufacturer of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals.This role oversees purchasing, warehouse, and import/export operations to ensure timely material flow, optimal inventory levels, and strong vendor performance across the supply chain.Responsibilities:Procurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, price negotiation, and purchase order processing.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing records, including pricing histories and documentation of vendor performance or issues.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost savings and support cost-reduction initiatives in partnership with internal departments.</li></ul>Import/Export &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Oversee import/export processes and ensure compliance with applicable tariffs, taxes, and trade regulations.</li><li>Coordinate with carriers and transporters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.</li><li>Expedite urgent orders as needed to meet production or customer deadlines.</li></ul>Warehouse &amp; Inventory Oversight<ul><li>Oversee shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials.</li><li>Step in to assist with picking, packing, and receiving tasks when needed.</li><li>Monitor and adjust safety stock levels based on usage trends, and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support just-in-time practices.</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Lead, coach, and support warehouse, purchasing, and logistics staff to meet departmental and organizational goals.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering and Production, to ensure material availability and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Attend production planning meetings to provide updates on material readiness and delivery timelines.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Process Improvement<ul><li>Investigate defective parts, collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions, and prevent future quality issues.</li><li>Stay informed of vendor recommendations, industry developments, and technologies that can enhance efficiency.</li></ul>Other<ul><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the overall materials management function.</li></ul>This is a Direct Hire position.
