THE MISSION:
The Process Technician plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix&rsquo;s business objectives by:<ul><li>Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.</li><li>Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.</li></ul>
A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:<ul><li> 
Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstix safety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paper loading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.</li><li>This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be taken to satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.</li><li>Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
</li><li>Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the machine technician function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.</li><li>Assure quick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets</li><li>Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately.</li><li>Achieve the tasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System, inclusive of BRC.</li></ul>

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience as a Process Technician.</li><li>Certification or credential in related fields from local career &amp; technology center and/or local technical college is preferred.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.</li><li>Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.</li><li>Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.</li></ul>

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $23.53/hr (21.53/hour + $2/hr 3rd Shift Prem) (Training Period is 20.53/hr)
Schedule: 8 Hour
Shift: 3rd (2240 to 0700) 10:40 to 7:30 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday
