About the Role
This is much more than a traditional learning and development role.
As our Talent Development Manager, you'll lead the team responsible for creating a brilliant learning experience for colleagues across SettleParadigm. You'll work closely with leaders across the business to understand future capability needs, develop innovative learning solutions and build leadership and professional development pathways that support both individual careers and organisational success.
Leading a team of Talent Development Partners, a Talent Development Coordinator and our Customer Services Trainer, you'll create a learning culture where development is practical, engaging and aligned to our business priorities.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our Learning Academy, influence how we develop future talent and ensure learning remains at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing Talent Development team.</li><li>
Develop and deliver our talent development strategy, ensuring it supports our organisational priorities and future ambitions.</li><li>
Partner with leaders and managers to identify capability gaps and create practical, high-impact development solutions.</li><li>
Design and oversee leadership, management, professional and early careers development programmes.</li><li>
Champion a culture of continuous learning, encouraging colleagues to take ownership of their development.</li><li>
Lead the ongoing development of our Learning Management System and Learning Academy, ensuring an engaging learner experience.</li><li>
Oversee mandatory and compliance learning, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.</li><li>
Use data, insight and evaluation to measure impact and continuously improve our learning offer.</li><li>
Manage external learning providers and budgets, ensuring quality, innovation and value for money.</li><li>
Work collaboratively across the wider People Experience team to support performance, talent, succession planning and organisational change.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Must haves:<ul><li>
Has significant experience leading learning, talent or organisational development within a complex organisation.</li><li>
Has experience managing and developing specialist teams.</li><li>
Builds trusted relationships and confidently partners with senior leaders.</li><li>
Can translate business priorities into meaningful learning and development solutions.</li><li>
Has excellent coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>
Uses insight, data and evaluation to demonstrate impact and return on investment.</li><li>
Is passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences that enable everyone to succeed.</li><li>
Brings energy, curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.</li></ul>

Experience working within housing, public sector or not-for-profit organisations.</li><li>
Experience developing leadership and management programmes.</li><li>
Experience supporting early careers, apprenticeships or talent pipelines.</li><li>
Experience managing Learning Management Systems and digital learning platforms.</li><li>
A relevant learning, HR or organisational development qualification (or working towards one).</li></ul>

Working Hours &amp; Additional Pay

Hybrid working with regular attendance at our Letchworth Garden City and Wooburn Green offices, alongside occasional travel to other locations as required.

As we continue to strengthen our data capability, we&rsquo;re looking for a senior leader to shape the future of our enterprise data platforms and architecture.
About the Role
We&rsquo;re recruiting a Head of Data Architecture &amp; Engineering to lead the design, development and operation of our enterprise data environment. This is a pivotal role in our Data, Insight &amp; Analytics directorate. Responsible for building the foundations that enable trusted reporting, analytics and future advanced data capabilities.
You&rsquo;ll lead our Data Engineering and Data Architecture teams, ensuring our data is reliably sourced, integrated and made available through modern, scalable and secure cloud‑based platforms. You&rsquo;ll set the technical direction, champion engineering standards and work closely with colleagues across Technology, Digital Platforms, Infrastructure, Information Governance and Business Systems.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership, someone who takes pride in building platforms that are robust, secure and built to last. 
 
About You:
 
You&rsquo;re a technically credible and pragmatic leader with deep experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred). You understand what good looks like and you know how to build it.
You enjoy creating clarity, setting direction and enabling engineers to do their best work. You&rsquo;re comfortable working across boundaries. Collaborating with infrastructure, security, digital and business teams to ensure data needs are understood early and delivered effectively.
You bring curiosity, resilience and a continuous improvement mindset. You take ownership of the services you lead, and you&rsquo;re motivated by seeing well‑engineered solutions directly support better decisions and better outcomes for colleagues and residents.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Own and evolve the enterprise data architecture</li><li>
Lead the design and operation of the enterprise data platform (warehouse / lake / lakehouse)</li><li>
Ensure reliable, automated data pipelines from core business systems</li><li>
Define and enforce data engineering standards and patterns</li><li>
Ensure data platforms are secure, resilient and cost‑effective</li><li>
Provide technical leadership for data integration across the organisation</li><li>
Work closely with application, infrastructure and security teams</li><li>
Lead and develop high‑performing engineering teams</li></ul>
Must haves/Essential:<ul><li>
Significant experience as a Data Architect or equivalent enterprise‑level architecture role</li><li>
Experience leading data engineering and/or data platform teams</li><li>
Strong experience designing and operating cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)</li><li>
Experience developing platforms such as Fabric, Snowflake or Databricks</li><li>
Knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns and data integration approaches</li><li>
Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills</li><li>
Confidence making architectural decisions and balancing long‑term strategy with practical delivery</li></ul>
Nice to haves/Preferred:<ul><li>
Experience supporting large‑scale system integration or organisational change</li><li>
Experience working across complex, multi‑system environments</li><li>
Knowledge of modern data lake/lakehouse architectures</li><li>
