Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to join our team in developing, maintaining, and supporting a mission application system. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Drupal-based solutions, as well as providing operational support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our applications. This role requires a strong technical background in Drupal development, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></div><div></div><ul><li><b><br>
Development</b>: Design, develop, and implement custom Drupal modules, themes, and features to support enterprise applications.</li><li><b>
System Integration</b>: Integrate Drupal applications with external systems, APIs, and third-party services to meet business requirements.</li><li><b>
Maintenance &amp; Support</b>: Provide ongoing operational support, including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting issues in production environments.</li><li><b>
Code Quality</b>: Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following Drupal coding standards and best practices.</li><li><b>
Collaboration</b>: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and system administrators, to deliver scalable solutions.</li><li><b>
Technical Documentation</b>: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed features, configurations, and processes.</li><li><b>
Security &amp; Compliance</b>: Ensure applications adhere to enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.</li><li><b>
Performance Optimization</b>: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability of Drupal applications.</li><li><b>
Troubleshooting</b>: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance degradation, and system failures, in a timely manner.</li><li><b>
Upgrades &amp; Migrations</b>: Support Drupal version upgrades, migrations, and patching to keep applications current and secure.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li><b>U.S. Citizen</b></li><li><b>
Experience</b>: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred).</li><li><b>
Technical Skills</b>:</li><li><ul><li>
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.</li><li>
Expertise in developing custom Drupal modules and themes.</li><li>
Experience with Drupal APIs, Drupal configuration management, and Drupal&rsquo;s contrib ecosystem.</li><li>
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and modern JavaScript libraries is a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Operational Support</b>: Proven experience in providing operational support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for Drupal applications.</li><li><b>
Problem-Solving</b>: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.</li><li><b>
Communication</b>: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li><b>
Education</b>: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li></ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience with enterprise-scale Drupal implementations in industries such as healthcare, finance, or government.</li><li>
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO best practices.</li><li>
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.</li><li>
Drupal certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Developer) is a plus.</li></ul>
