Key Responsibilities:Procurement Management:<ul><li>Develop and implement a centralized procurement strategy aligned with Sevalaya&rsquo;s operational and financial goals.</li><li>Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, materials, and services.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, and value.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies in procurement processes.</li></ul>Stores &amp; Inventory Management:<ul><li>Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials across all Sevalaya centers.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and accurate inventory records.</li><li>Implement and maintain inventory control systems including stock audits, reorder levels, and FIFO/LIFO methods as required.</li><li>Ensure minimal wastage and optimal utilization of inventory.</li><li>Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of stock.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>Work closely with Finance for budgeting, cost control, and expenditure tracking related to purchases and inventory.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on procurement efficiency, inventory status, and cost savings.</li></ul>Team Management:<ul><li>Lead and mentor the Purchase and Stores team across locations.</li><li>Establish SOPs, workflows, and KPIs for team members.</li><li>Ensure training and skill development of team staff.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication:<ul><li>Coordinate with internal departments (Education, Healthcare, Admin, Projects) to assess material requirements.</li><li>Support emergency procurements or logistical needs during events, health camps, disaster relief efforts, etc.</li><li>Maintain clear communication and updates with leadership on all major procurement and inventory decisions.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:Education:<ul><li>Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 10&ndash;15 years of experience in purchase and stores management.</li><li>Prior experience in NGOs, educational institutions, hospitals, or rural development organizations preferred.</li><li>Experience with ERP or inventory management software is desirable.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Attention to detail with strong documentation skills.</li><li>Team leadership and cross-functional coordination.</li><li>Knowledge of compliance and regulatory aspects of procurement.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From &#8377;25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
