Job Overview: 
We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Development Manager (SDR Manager) to lead, manage, and grow our Sales Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales development and leadership, with a focus on setting the foundation for sales success and leading a team of SDRs to generate qualified leads, drive pipeline growth, and contribute directly to revenue generation. This position reports to the Director of Sales Development. As the SDR Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sales strategy and customer acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead and Manage SDR Team:<ul><li>
Manage a high-performing SDR team focused on prospecting, lead qualification, and initial outreach to drive meetings and opportunities.</li><li>
Meet sales targets and KPIs for the SDR team, holding them accountable for meeting or exceeding their goals.</li><li>
Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to improve the SDR team&rsquo;s skills and performance.</li><li>
Leverage tools like Gong to deliver ongoing feedback and coaching</li><li>
Lead ongoing enablement on software tools, SewerAI products, and industry trends</li></ul></li><li>
Sales Strategy and Process Optimization:<ul><li>
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop, refine, and execute lead generation strategies.</li><li>
Ensure SDRs use best cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and account-based marketing practices.</li><li>
Regularly analyze SDR processes and results to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and output.</li></ul></li><li>
Lead Qualification and Pipeline Management:<ul><li>
Maintain visibility into team performance and pipeline growth, ensuring SDRs are consistently generating new, high-quality qualified opportunities.</li><li>
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads and consistent follow-up.</li></ul></li><li>
Collaboration and Communication:<ul><li>
Serve as a key liaison between Sales Development, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on strategy and messaging.</li><li>
Ensure SDRs are effectively using CRM tools (like Salesforce) and following processes for pipeline tracking and reporting.</li><li>
Regularly report on SDR performance to leadership and provide actionable insights to improve sales outcomes.</li></ul></li><li>
Recruitment and Hiring:<ul><li>
Work with leadership to identify hiring needs and recruit top talent for the SDR team.</li><li>
Onboard new SDRs and ensure they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.</li></ul></li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
1-2 years of experience in a sales development leadership role, preferably in SaaS or technology sales.</li><li>
Proven track record of managing and developing SDR teams, with a history of driving revenue through lead generation.</li><li>
Strong understanding of sales development best practices, including outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.</li><li>
Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar).</li><li>
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.</li><li>
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate team performance and implement improvements.</li><li>
A passion for building high-performance teams and driving sales success.</li></ul>
Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>
$90,000 annual base pay-$1400,000 OTE
The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience and other factors.
